1920s Cloche and a nightshirt

Isn't this the most amazing hat? It is made from crepe chiffon and dates from mid 1920s

And, this is a nightshirt with a difference - the hood!


The hood is detachable - it's held on with little buttons


It is in excellent condition too. I'm still not sure if it wasn't made for a convent or monastery. Either way, it is warm and cuddly - and right now, we could do with a bit of warmth!

Although it is only Thursday, have a great weekend - we're to St Yrieix la Perche tomorrow just for an outing, maybe a little lunch, and call in at some brocantes en route!

Wish it would warm up though...
