Sink into this slinky satin cushion.....

Don't you think this is such a fabulous French find? A slinky satin cushion, made for a lady's boudoir, so plump and soft, stuffed with feathers and just ready to sink into, reading the latest novel or love letter...

Made anywhere between the 1930s and 1950s, this has been carefully stitched in tiny silks, finished with a metallic braid and tassel.

The figures are dressed in 18th century costume - the girls are being entertained by a young musician playing the mandolin - they look as though they are more interested in their gossip...you can see other photos and more description on my ebay page here - take a peek!
